Purpose

This article is here to help you answer your questions, before you ask them. We will continue to add your questions to this list as they grow.

F.A.Q

  • How does the data travel from our instance of DRS or Job Manager to the tenant \ recipient ?

Data is transmitted from your instance to the fastsms2.php endpoint.  This endpoint redirects your data to our Platform service without storing or recording the transmission.  Our Platform service manages and records your data for auditing, billing and history purposes, and is accessed by you through our MyWorkplace solution.

  • What Services underpin your Notification and SMS service?

Our Platforms Notification service uses AWS Pinpoint services to provide SMS transmission through to network aggregators and carrier services.

  • Where are your Services located?

Our Platform Service is hosted within our secure AWS Cloud Host, with our fastsms2.php endpoint redirect hosted within our Private UK Cloud Hosting solution. All our services are provided using UK Based hosts.

  • What data is transmitted through your SMS and Notifications Service?

Flat file SMS services using Advanced SMS is no longer supported.  Only the minimum required data is transmitted through the new Notifications service, restricted to Target Phone Number, Message Payload, Organisation reference code and ID
