Scheduling Mutliple Jobs at Once

Schedule Now allows users to quickly schedule or reschedule one or multiple jobs directly from the Jobs screen. It is commonly used to reinstate suspended work in bulk or to assign jobs without a fixed appointment, enabling the scheduler to place them within an appropriate time window based on configuration and constraints.

Schedule now can be used to book multiple or single jobs from the job screen; this function is often used to reschedule work that has been suspended in bulk or to create a floating job within the system.

Using Schedule now

From the jobs screen select single or multiple lines and click on the Schedule Now button

From the pop up window, you will be prompted to select your preservation mode and whether or not to change or keep the time windows associated

Keep the current time window of jobs: If a new job will honour the creation to target date when selected it will schedule a floating job in this window. The appointment slot will be creation to target date and assignment date will be allocated within that window. If the job is suspended when selected the job will be scheduled back into the original appointment slot window the job was allocated before being suspended.

Change the current time window of jobs: This will open some date options to be preset by users.

Once a decision has been made, click on Schedule Now to schedule the jobs.
