Create Your Workers

Workers, or Resources, represent the individuals or assets that DRS schedules work against. Each worker is defined by a set of attributes, such as skills, availability and location, which determine when they can work and what jobs they can be assigned. These attributes are used by the scheduling engine to match the right worker to the right job.

Creating a Worker

Go to left navigation menu > Click on workers > Click on add > select agency and template > Enter the name > select the sectors which they can work on > Enter required attribute values and Mandatory fields > Add the abilities (skills, contracts etc.) > Click on save.

NB: The worker is auto sequenced by DRS on creation as Wxxx this doesn’t need to be changed and is used within mobile systems to request jobs from DRS using this value.
