Shortcuts

Andrew Dotto Updated by Andrew Dotto

Shortcuts allow users to save commonly used Diary views so they can return to them quickly without rebuilding the same selection each time. They are useful where users regularly review the same workers, resource groups, dates or planning views as part of their day-to-day scheduling activity.

How to use Shortcuts

Shortcuts can be created from the diary screen to give users quick access back into the diary based on the criteria set against the shortcut. Users can determine the number of resources to view in the diary and the date.

In the Diary screen click on the navigation menu and select Pin from the drop down

This will open the diary bookmark tab

Graphical user interface, text, application, email Description automatically generated

Give the Diary Bookmark a Name and specify the Start date planning display, options here are:

Current Date – every time this shortcut is launched it will display from the current date

Fixed Date – every time this shortcut is launched it will display on the fixed date set

Current Date with offset – every time this shortcut is launched it will display the current date +/- the offset set so +1 would be current date and tomorrow for example.

Click on Add Diary Bookmark to save, this will now be available in the shortcut options on the left.
