Diary Bookmarks
Purpose
This article will help you understand how to manage Diary Bookmarks within DRS.
What are Diary Bookmarks
Diary Bookmarks are shortcuts to a preconfigured list of Workers Diaries. By configuring Diary Bookmarks, your users will be able to click in and out of different diaries without having to select their required workers.
Managing Diary Bookmarks
Diary Bookmarks can be managed through the following menu: Configuration>Diary Bookmarks
Within this section you are able to view and amend Personal and Shared Diary Bookmarks. You can also convert Personal Bookmarks into a Shared Bookmark. This will allow the assigned users and profiles to see the same preconfigured Bookmark, avoiding the need for other users to create their own shortcuts for the same set of workers.
This also allows a central location for global Bookmark Management to support all of your users.

Editing an existing Bookmark
Selecting an existing Bookmark and clicking Edit will display the configuration options available within the Bookmark.

Name | Description |
Diary bookmark name | This has to be a unique value otherwise it will overwrite any existing Diary Bookmarks (Personal or Shared) with the same name. |
Display Mode | Selection from Day / Working Week / Week |
Number of days to display | If Day is selected - this will be the number of days that will be displayed. |
Display Type | Selection from Calendar (Default), Gantt, Customer / Project / Worker Planning Board (For Project Planner) |
Start date displayed | Selection from Fixed Date, Current Date, Current Date with offset |
Days to offset | If Current Date with Offset is configured as per above then this will start from +/- X number of days from today. |
View | Select what Diary Template configuration is used when viewing this Diary Bookmark |
Selected Workers | Workers can be added, removed or moved around using drag and drop to the position that you want them to appear in. |
Shared bookmark details | When selecting the checkbox, this will bring up a + button to select the profiles that are able to view this bookmark. |
Creating a Shared Bookmark
To create a Shared Bookmark, select a Personal Bookmark from the Diary Bookmark list.
To convert a Personal Bookmark to a Shared Bookmark all you need to do is click on the checkbox next to the Shared Bookmark details. This will bring up a + button to select the profiles that are able to view this bookmark.
NOTE: Converting any Personal Bookmark to a Shared Bookmark will overwrite any Personal Bookmark for the assigned Profiles which share the same 'Diary Bookmark Name'.
What will the Users see?
Users who have a combination of Shared and Personal Bookmarks configured will see a combined list of Diary Shortcuts in their left hand bar.
Shared Bookmarks will be displayed with a Globe icon.

Personal Bookmarks will be displayed with a Calendar icon.

Project Planner Planning Board Bookmarks will be displayed with an Calendar and Envelope icon.
