Managing Your Vocabulary

Andrew Dotto Updated by Andrew Dotto

The Vocabulary section allows you to change the names of tabs, menu items, and system labels throughout DRS so that the terminology better reflects the language used by your organisation.

To amend vocabulary, select Edit and the available fields will become editable. Once updated, the revised wording will be reflected across the system wherever that term is used.

For example, the term Workers can be changed to Resources. This means users will see Resources throughout the system instead of Workers, helping align DRS with internal business terminology and making the system feel more familiar to users.

Managing Your Vocabulary

Adding your values into the table will overwrite those values for your system.

For example, if Worker is changed to Resource, the plural value should also be updated from Workers to Resources. This helps avoid mixed terminology appearing in different areas of DRS.
