DRS Setup and Options
Updated
by Mike Nolan
Purpose
This article will help you understand how to setup DRS to be used by the Cyclical Servicing Module. There are a few key steps to take in the DRS UI to ensure the module runs smoothly, in conjunction with the configuration needed within the Database.
Worker Skill
The Skill required to deliver the task needs to be added to the Worker Template in order to define the types of work that the Worker will be doing. This needs to be added first so that it can be defined when setting up the Job Template.
Navigate to the following path: DRS > Configuration > Templates > Worker
Select your relevant Worker Template and click Edit.
Under the Abilities section at the bottom you will see an Ability of Skill, click this and click Edit.
Add the relevant Skill to the Possible Values section on a new line.

Job Template
Next we need to add in the Job Template of which will link to the Skill you just setup.
Navigate to the following path: DRS > Configuration > Templates > Job and click Add
For information on all of the other fields please review the Article under Administering your DRS > Templates > Job Template
When adding the resource requirement, ensure your resources are assigned the Skill created in the Worker Skill section.
SOR Template
SOR codes need to be set as a Servicing Requirement within DRS to enable them to be picked up for scheduling automatically.
Learn how to configure your SOR Template here: Manage my SOR Templates
When configuring your SOR, ensure you set your Service Requirement value to Yes
Adding the Skill to your Workers
Once all the rest is configured you need to allocate which workers are going to be able to complete the Servicing Jobs.
Navigate to your Workers page, select the relevant Worker and click Edit.
In the bottom section of the Worker record under Abilities, there is a section for Skill. Click the pencil to add the relevant skill and click Save.
